Samuel Esteban to Release first single "Tu amor me ha vuelto loco"

After devoting over five years to the pursuits of acting and writing, Samuel Esteban is preparing to re-enter the musical arena, embarking on a new chapter as a singer-songwriter. The Dominican artist is scheduled to release the music video for his debut single, "Tu amor me ha vuelto loco" on Tuesday, September 3, 2024. This composition, for which Esteban is solely responsible for both lyrics and music, marks a significant milestone in his creative journey.

"Tu amor me ha vuelto loco" draws its inspiration from the intense and passionate relationship of a close friend. According to Esteban’s account, this friend believed that her partner had been driven to a state of near-madness by love, manifested in his spontaneous outbursts of affection in public spaces. This emotionally charged scenario served as the conceptual foundation for Esteban's lyrical and musical expression.

The production of the track took place in esteemed studios in Madrid, under the expert guidance of notable Spanish music producers David Santisteban and Daniel Oriza, who also undertook the task of arranging the music. The recording features the contributions of a distinguished group of musicians, including Bob Benozzo, Ludovico Vagnone, Riki Rivera, Héctor Pérez, Kim Fanlo, Toni Mateos, and Daniel Oriza.

The forthcoming music video for "Tu amor me ha vuelto loco" was filmed in the picturesque Spanish city of Cádiz, specifically in the municipality of Vejer de la Frontera. The narrative of the video centers around a young man, portrayed by Samuel Esteban, who encounters a young woman, played by Spanish actress Paula Bueno, in the local town shop. As the song progresses, the protagonist imagines an idyllic life of romantic love with her.

The direction and production of the video were undertaken by the esteemed director Gema Lozano. The filming process spanned three days, during which scenes were captured in some of the most visually striking beaches and locales within this vibrant and culturally rich province on the Iberian Peninsula.

Samuel Esteban's musical education began in his childhood with piano studies, followed by formal training in operatic singing at the National Conservatory of Music in Santo Domingo. His journey as a composer commenced in 2010. Currently residing in Mexico, Esteban is in the process of completing his first full-length album, which will feature "Tu amor me ha vuelto loco" alongside a diverse array of tracks that explore themes of heartache and romance through the lens of evocative pop ballads and tender, romantic compositions.
